The New York University Master’s Program in Global Public Health is holding a panel “Thinking Globally About Health Literacy” in New York, NY on October 21, 2009. This panel will start with an overview of health literacy issues and implications within a variety of communication and country settings. Special focus will be on health literacy implications and communication strategies within the context of interpersonal communication as well as vulnerable and migrant populations.
