Recent disasters and public health emergencies has prompted an acknowledgement that government agencies alone lack sufficient capacity to meet the needs of all communities in times of disaster and public health emergency—thus partnerships with faith-based organizations (FBOs) and other community partners are critical to fostering community resilience.
