I recently discovered a blog “Finding Health Literacy“ The blog’s author is recording her journey through the US, Canada and Europe in search of best practice in consumer health literacy. In her About Me section she writes -
“I manage a consumer health information and health literacy program at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. In April 2011 I am travelling to the US, Canada, England, Amsterdam and Finland to learn about the many and varied ways in which health professionals, academics and literacy experts are approaching the ‘problem’ of health literacy in their countries. I am travelling as part of the Victorian Quality Council’s Travelling Fellowship Program.”
