This was found on their web page. “Building upon the 2004 report Health Literacy: A Prescription to End Confusion, the Institute of Medicine has convened a Roundtable on Health Literacy. The Roundtable brings together leaders from academia, industry, government, foundations and associations, and representatives of patient and consumer interests who have an interest and role in improving health literacy.”
There are links to the Project meetings and Reports at http://www.iom.edu/CMS/3793/31487.aspx In visiting some of the reports, presentations, audio broadcasts and recommended reading lists this morning, I discovered a wealth of resources made available by many expert s in the field. I recommend them as well worth your review.
