Call for Nominations – Pfizer Health LiteracyAdvacing Patient Safety Award

The Pfizer Health Literacy in Advancing Patient Safety Award recognizes an individual, group or organization which has made significant strides in improving the health literacy of their constituents or community through research, advocacy, or program implementation in order to improve patient safety and quality of care. The award recipient will receive a one-time grant from Pfizer in the amount of $15,000.

Individuals may nominate themselves or their program or institution, or can be nominated by a third party. All nominations must be submitted electronically to cnorcross@npsf.org by 5pm ET on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Nominations will not be accepted after the deadline.
