Easier Access To Basic e-health Info In 23 Languages

[HealthLiteracy 3191] Charles Jackson, with the Humana Foundation,  posted this on the Health Literacy Listserv.    Recently “a new feature launched on the homepage of wellzone.org.  In the upper left-hand corner is a drop-down menu called “Additional languages.”

When one of the 23 languages is selected from the menu, brief instructions appear in that language with one or two links to basic health information also in that language.  When we demonstrate wellzone.org, we find that content in multiple languages is of particular interest for librarians, health educators and community clinics dealing with immigrant populations.
