The Pfizer Health Literacy in Advancing Patient Safety Award

The Pfizer Health Literacy in Advancing Patient Safety Award, to be awarded at the National Patient Safety Foundation Annual Patient Safety Congress, will recognize an individual, group or organization which has made significant strides in improving the health literacy of their constituents or community through research, advocacy, or program implementation in order to improve patient safety and quality of care. The award recipient will receive a one-time grant from Pfizer in the amount of $15,000. All nominations must be submitted electronically to cnorcross@npsf.org by 5:00pm ET on Friday, February 12, 2010. Nominations will not be accepted after the deadline.
