MedlinePlus users have more ways to discover rich content from the A.D.A.M. medical encyclopedia http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/encyclopedia.html. Nearly 700 of the 800 English MedlinePlus topic pages http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/healthtopics.html now include links to related encyclopedia articles. Look for the “Encyclopedia” box on the right-hand side of a health topic page. If there are more than 10 related encyclopedia links, the box shows the first 10 by default and you can see the rest by clicking the plus (+) symbol to expand the box. Links to Spanish encyclopedia content will be increasing in the coming months on MedlinePlus en español http://medlineplus.gov/spanish/. On the Spanish topic pages, the encyclopedia links will appear in the body of the page instead of in a separate encyclopedia box. Additionally, users will now see links to related MedlinePlus topics in the side-bar of many English and Spanish encyclopedia articles
