Inaugural Health Literacy Conference Pennsylvania

The ACP Foundation will be hosting the 2010 Inaugural Pennsylvania Health Literacy Conference.    The conference will feature several prominent national experts at the new Temple University Medical Education Research Building on November 18, 2010.

The purpose of the conference is three fold:

  • Raise awareness of the impact of low health literacy on patient health outcomes
  • Assist organizations and health professionals in overcoming the challenges of low health literacy
  • Develop a statewide Leadership Council to catalyze action among state, regional and local organizations
