PolicyLink is a national research and action institute that uses the tagline: “advancing economic and social equity by Lifting Up What Works.” They’ve recently released a report called, “Why Place and Race Matter“, which concludes that, in order to reduce health disparities in our society, race is essential to factor in when policymakers, community leaders, and activists move to make decisions related to public health.
