Tune in this Thanksgiving for a Night Celebrating Skating, Song, and Survivorship

The following was posted by National Coalition For Cancer Survivorship NCCS [info@canceradvocacy.org]

“Join Olympic champions Scott Hamilton and Dorothy Hamill on Thanksgiving Day for Kaleidoscope on Ice, a holiday spectacular and musical extravaganza to celebrate survivorship on FOX from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST.

Kaleidoscope on Ice will feature an unprecedented line up of Olympic and World champion figure skaters and award winning musical talent, including Olympic silver medalist Nancy Kerrigan, 3-time U.S. national champion Johnny Weir, and Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen. Complementing amazing skating, the legendary, Grammy Award winner Patti LaBelle and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will be performing, along with rising country musician Hunter Hayes, and Billboard’s 2011 Artists to Watch Andy Grammer.

When you’re finished watching, be sure to head over to The Wall of Survivorship and add a ribbon to the Wall to show your support for cancer survivors in your life. Caregivers, friends and family can add ribbons to the Wall to commemorate and show support for the people they love who are facing cancer.

Kaleidoscope on Ice combines the breath-taking beauty of skating and the inspiration of song to entertain, inform and empower survivors and their loved ones to celebrate life in living color. The show addresses issues surrounding women and cancer through an extraordinary collaboration with 10 advocacy partners, including NCCS.”
